Spend your life in your own way.

This course is suitable for students interested in painting, whether they are beginners, intermediate artists, or those looking to transition from traditional to digital drawing. The course aims to help students build a solid technical foundation, discover their personal style, and enhance their creative abilities.

Traditional digital painting courses typically focus on teaching techniques like sketching, watercolor, oil painting, and copying portraits, often lacking creativity and variety, with each teacher specializing in only one style. This course provides comprehensive guidance, allowing students to learn various styles to achieve learning goals that are often difficult to reach in conventional art education. This hands-on teaching not only helps students develop their painting skills but also cultivates their ability to take on projects, while providing stress relief and promoting holistic healing for the mind, body, and spirit.

Got questions? We've got answers!

Q1:I can't draw at all. Can I still learn digital illustration?

A: Well, can you draw a square, a circle, or a triangle? You surely can, right? Then there’s nothing to worry about! Even without any drawing foundation, you can create your own DODO ZOO in just 3 hours. With just 3 hours a day, you can master eight different art styles all at once.

Q2:I have no traditional drawing skills. Am I suitable for learning digital illustration?

A: If you're considering learning digital illustration but are unsure if my course is right for you, I have some advice for you: if you want to learn Painter but are worried that my course might be too advanced or too fast for you to keep up with, you may need to watch the videos multiple times and practice with our foundational courses. These courses usually introduce the basic functions and operations of the software, gradually guiding you into more complex techniques and concepts to help you build a solid foundation. Finding your own art style is very important, and don't be afraid of not being able to learn. Every month, I will hold 1-2 live sessions with a 30-minute Q&A afterward. You can ask questions online, and there will be a community where you can share your learning experience with senior students.

Q3:I have no computer skills at all. Can I still learn digital illustration?

A: If you are not familiar with computers, basic operations, or lack basic computer equipment, I recommend that you first prepare the necessary basic computer equipment and a drawing tablet, as well as basic skills such as file management, web browsing, and basic software usage. This will help you understand how to operate digital illustration software more easily.

Q4:I want to learn digital illustration. Is there an age limit for that?

A: The youngest students I have are 4 and 6 years old (but children under 10 need to have a parent accompany them during learning), and the oldest student is an 85-year-old grandmother. So basically, as long as you have an interest, you can learn to draw. My classes start with basic shapes like squares, circles, and triangles, which we will combine to create animal toys called DODO ZOO. The step-by-step curriculum will guide you to draw eight different styles, including cute mascots, beautiful girls, fantasy monsters, and transforming robots. Are you also eager to work hard for your dreams? Believe in yourself—you can do it!

Q5:What are the differences between HC's digital painting courses and general digital painting courses?

Traditional digital painting courses typically focus on teaching techniques like sketching, watercolor, oil painting, and copying portraits, often lacking creativity and variety, with each teacher specializing in only one style. This course provides comprehensive guidance, allowing students to learn various styles to achieve learning goals that are often difficult to reach in conventional art education. This hands-on teaching not only helps students develop their painting skills but also cultivates their ability to take on projects, while providing stress relief and promoting holistic healing for the mind, body, and spirit.
